Some people say because my poems have emotion this makes me emo but if realising and apprieciating my surroundings and writing down the natural ups and downs of life makes me emo, then arent we all emo? We all have thoughts and we all have feelings and if we get chastised everytime we express them there is clearly something wrong with our society. No one can escape emotion, so calling someone emo who expresses their emotion shows how empty the accusing person really is. By accusing the other person of being emo, they claim that they are not, therefore they must have no emotion, which is a reflection of how they see life. Life with out emotion would be like standing in a white room for the rest of your life not being able to move or make a sound, for movement could trigger an emotion such as boredom. I pitty those who think that showing emotion is a bad thing for they are missing the most enjoyable part of life, sharing it with others.
